In summary, Thailand currently allows passport holders from 41 countries and one region (the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) to receive a 30-day tourist visa exemption upon arrival at an immigration checkpoint, or 15 days when entering at visa checkpoints that border neighbouring countries. For some nationalities, currently 21 countries and territories, 15-day tourist visas can be obtained on arrival at a cost of 1,000 baht (approximately US$35).
